KGS@kgs-astana.kzThe Volvo FH16 is Volvo’s flagship model. It is the first long-haul truck to combine such high power, comfort, safety, driving performance, and durability. With its exceptional power and torque, the D16E/D16C engine makes the Volvo FH16 one of the finest representatives of the heavy-duty truck class.
• Gross vehicle weight of up to 100 tonnes;
• 16.1-litre diesel engine;
• 610 hp;
• Rigid truck or tractor unit;
• Sleeper cab;
• Wheel configuration: 8×4.
The manual height-adjustment system makes it easy to change the loading platform height according to the height of the loading dock. The system can be pre-programmed for several loading docks of different heights.
Koninklijke Nooteboom Trailers B.V. holds a leading position in the European market in the development and manufacture of vehicles designed to operate under specific weather conditions and transport oversized loads weighing from 20 to 1,000 tonnes.
For transporting its main pile-driving and drilling equipment, KGS-Astana LLP uses a Nooteboom EURO 78-04 heavy-duty semi-trailer with the following technical specifications:
• Low-bed design;
• Number of axles — 4;
• Type — open;
• Hydraulic loading ramps;
• Automatic lubrication system;
• Steering lock system;
• Maximum permissible gross weight — 78 tonnes.
The MAN Group is one of Europe’s leading mechanical engineering and automotive companies, with an annual turnover of approximately EUR 16 billion. As a global systems supplier of products and services for capital-goods industries, MAN and its 76,000 employees operate actively in key areas including trucks, buses, industrial services, printing machinery, diesel engines, and selected specialist fields of mechanical engineering and complete industrial plant construction.
MAN vehicles have established a reputation for exceptional reliability and offer one of the best price-to-quality ratios on the market. Many transport operators prefer German engineering quality. The fact that MAN vehicles are widely used by the German armed forces can also be regarded as a strong recommendation.
For heavy-duty freight transportation, the company’s specialists developed a new TG-A vehicle range. The new-generation MAN Trucknology® Generation vehicles, with gross weights starting from 18 tonnes, are well suited to modern operating conditions.
The tractor unit offers several advantages. One major benefit is the efficient use of cargo space along the vehicle’s length within the limited overall length of the road train. Other advantages include the ability to replace one tractor unit with another for greater operational flexibility, as well as high transport productivity with minimal downtime.
The Soilmec P6.80 concrete pumps were developed by Soilmec specialists. These crawler-mounted concrete pumps were designed to operate together with drilling rigs used for constructing bored piles by the continuous flight auger (CFA) method.
One of their key features is that they can be positioned close to hydraulic rotary drilling rigs. Pumps of this type are equipped with a special air compressor for cleaning the pipe through which the concrete is delivered. The compressor is used after the pile has been installed. In addition, the pump is fitted with a water tank for self-cleaning.
Professionals working in this field clearly understand the advantages of such pumps compared with conventional concrete pumps that do not have air compressors or water tanks.
Stationary concrete pumps manufactured by Waitzinger are designed for operation under demanding construction conditions and for pumping heavy concrete mixtures. Waitzinger concrete pumps are distinguished by the reliability of all components, high assembly quality, high performance, and ease of maintenance.
Concrete is delivered through an S-shaped valve, which provides maximum concrete pressure for pumping heavy mixtures to considerable heights. The wear plate along which the S-shaped valve moves consists of two sections, making it easy to replace. This significantly reduces maintenance time and cost because the valve does not need to be removed.
The pump is equipped with a powerful water flushing pump as standard. The water pressure is 20 bar. An automatic lubrication system can be installed at the customer’s request.
An excavator is one of the most essential machines for earthmoving and loading operations. Wheeled excavators are generally versions of crawler-mounted models installed on pneumatic-wheeled chassis and equipped with a backhoe attachment.
The operating weight of pneumatic-wheeled excavators usually does not exceed 25 tonnes, as increased axle loads limit their ability to travel independently. Manufacturers pay particular attention to minimizing the counterweight swing radius, emphasizing the suitability of wheeled excavators for working on streets without obstructing traffic, as well as close to buildings and trees.
To improve the quality of its operations, KGS-Astana LLP uses a JCB-4CX T-MAX backhoe loader manufactured by J.C. Bamford Excavators Limited, United Kingdom.
Truck-mounted cranes are used to transport a wide range of cargo, from metal products to machinery and equipment. They are suitable for loading and transporting construction materials and components, machine tools, equipment, glass, and other goods. They can also be used for the full-load recovery of wheeled and tracked special-purpose machinery, as well as damaged vehicles with impaired mobility.
When cargo needs to be transported by road but loading and unloading arrangements have not been resolved, a truck-mounted crane is an effective solution. This is possible because the vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic loading crane. By combining the functions of a mobile crane and a flatbed truck, it significantly saves both time and money.
The technical fleet of KGS-Astana LLP includes a Mitsubishi Fuso truck-mounted crane.
For loading and unloading operations, KGS-Astana LLP uses a Grove RT 540E rough-terrain crane manufactured by Manitowoc Crane Group France SAS.
MANITOU is an international group headquartered in France and one of the world’s leading companies in the design, manufacture, and sale of lifting equipment intended for use on all types of construction sites.
