Advantages and Features of the Technology

For the first time in the Republic of Kazakhstan, KGS-Astana LLP began operating JUNTTAN hydraulic hammers for pile driving.

A distinctive feature of this equipment is the ability to adjust the impact energy from minimum to maximum. Depending on the density and type of soil, the hammer’s impact energy can be regulated, allowing piles to be driven in a controlled mode without damage and with a significantly lower level of vibration affecting nearby buildings and structures. The equipment can drive piles up to 18 metres long and with cross-sections of up to 40×40 cm.

Compared with traditionally used diesel hammers, these hydraulic hammers offer several advantages:

1. HIGHER PRODUCTIVITY;

2. NO EXHAUST EMISSIONS AND A LOWER NOISE LEVEL.

1. High productivity — up to 200 piles per shift;

2. Low noise level during operation;

3. No vertical cracks below the cut-off level;

4. The pile reinforcement remains undamaged;

5. No need to involve a large number of personnel, machines, or equipment.
